No horse experience is necessary. This course is especially suitable for those who are open to learning about horses as our playful guides and teachers, without needing to ride. Hard hats and refreshments are provided.

Horses live in family groups and understand the dynamics of relationships. Horses show us how we can become more aware, open and healthy in our approach to close relationships. Interacting with horses teaches us about our styles of relating to the world and others by throwing light on our patterns and habits of behaviour. This taster course offers a non-riding session and is aimed at women who are in recovery from domestic violence and abuse. It will introduce themes of power, energy and closeness in a safe, supported, spacious natural environment.

N.B. Please bring something for a shared lunch after each session.

This 6-week course will meet fortnightly on Wednesdays: 3rd, 17th April, 1st, 15th, 29th May and 12th June

Venue: Redlands Farm, Netherton, Newton Abbot TQ12 4RP. Transport to Redlands Farm, Netherton, Newton Abbot Please request if you will need community transport to Netherton from Newton Abbot Train Station
